One of the things that I like the most is that it actually fits a woman without the crotch hanging to my knees. The elastic on the inside of the suit allows me to adjust it so that the waistband fits my waist, thus making the inseam almost perfect. The remaining bells and whistles are just the cherry on top. I’m so happy that gave this suit a try!
The suit is great. Except for the face veil. Bottom is too close to face even after adjustments made.
After suffering with marginal equipment that seemed to let more bees in than they kept out, my first experience with this suit is awesome. Just opening the package and looking over all the features was a great experience, as this is a very well made garment and it's obvious that a lot of thought went into the design.
I purchased a suit, fencing veil and gloves. I was a little skeptical about the glove sizing as I normally take medium, so ordering the XLs was a leap of faith. They fit perfectly!
On the suit, I love the way the cuffs at the ankles and wrists can be sealed tight. No more little buggers getting up my pant legs or up my sleeves!
The veil works well, even when I had quite a few bees trying to get in. The material it's made of makes it easy to inspect the frames, even working in shadow.
This is a relatively heavy garment, and I was a little skeptical as to how cool it would be. After wearing it for an hour or so it's definitely way cooler than my regular jacket and coveralls.
The fit is spot-on except the front zipper needs to be lowered once the veil is off my head or it places a fair amount of pressure on the front of my neck. This isn't terrible, but just want to mention it for completeness.

The suit, gloves, and veil are far superior to my older (high-end kit) and the service I received when I needed to exchange for a bigger size was excellent. It is amazing when you find a provider who deliver a great product AND great service. It's uncommon. Thank you Apis Tactical.
I purchased a suit, gloves, and veil. All three pieces breathe VERY WELL. A slight breeze penetrates, and body heat escapes, easily through the three layers. There are plenty of zippered pockets, including a hive tool pocket on the right thigh (which is not readily apparent in the pictures). The suit, gloves, and veil are also somewhat form fitting, which eliminates all the extra material getting in the way or bulging out awkwardly. This is especially noticeable in the gloves, which significantly improve dexterity.
IMO, the suit fitment is slightly smaller than the size chart suggests (but I acknowledged I was very concerned about having another one that was too bulky). I initially ordered a Medium and found the torso length a little undersized. I emailed Apis Tactical and the unused Medium was exchanged for a Large in just a few days, which no restocking or shipping fees. They even provided prepaid return packaging.
Suit is great, breathable in summer and a nice heavy material that’s looks like it will last.
The stitching( sewing) manly around the zipper is poor, has lots of strands and loose ends.
Looks like it will hold together for a long time, a lot of stitching just has excess strands.
Wish the part of the hat that sits on your head was a little thicker, had a bee get me on the head.
