I’ve been beekeeping for three years, and. I do full hive inspections, frame manipulation, queen work, swarm work, honey harvesting, and general yard and apiary tasks. I also work regularly alongside my mentor, who manages around 100 hives throughout the year—so these gloves get real world, hard use.
From the moment I put on the APIS Tactical beekeeping gloves, the difference was obvious. They are noticeably thinner than traditional bee gloves, but without sacrificing protection. The dexterity is outstanding. I have far better finger control, a stronger and more confident grip, and significantly less hand fatigue during long inspections. Just as important, the gloves reduce that constant fear of crushing bees, which matters a lot when doing detailed frame and queen work.
I also live with Parkinson’s disease, and that adds another layer to this review. These gloves have genuinely helped me in ways most products never consider. APIs Tactical is my goto for gloves. They are flexible and prevent stings. I wish the Velcro could be made replaceable. Be sure to order a size larger than your normal size glove.
