I started with ancient wire veils that would poke and stab my cheeks and face, then moved to consumer grade clothing that had major design flaws , like having the veil too close to the face and chin, making my jaw an easy target for defensive bees. My previous suits had Weak elastic and droopy sleeves, gloves that sagged and allowed many bees into my arms and wrists! Velcro coverings that were too small inviting bees inside my veil- (stings on my face and eye lids)… The Apis-Tactical is a game changer- the fit and quality of the fabrics, the beefy zippers that glide easily,, the sleeve and glove system is wonderful! The Velcro is generous and cut fantastic! No bees going into my sleeves! The veil design is much wider and further down the chest keeping the fabric off the Chin by miles (no more stings under the jaw) Thr mesh and reinforced rims hold the veil in shape and allow for awesome range of visibility! The Tactical Pockets are cut on a diagonal and offer stellar performance for holding the hive tool with the aide if the Neo- magnetic 🧲! The arm pockets are also key for pen location, notes and accessories for marking hives. Incredible equipment! It’s a JOY to put the gear on and makes me excited to get Busy as a Bee! Highly recommend!
